Lauren Kelly Casting was established in 2018 in response to a need for an agent that truly represented our students.
Lauren Kelly Academy was established in 2008 as a stage school. We aim to provide quality tuition to children ages 3-18 years. It quickly became apparent that many of our students had the ability and desire to work professionally and we developed strong links with many of the major agencies based at media city and across the North West. Our students were regularly being cast in major soaps, BBC dramas, itv dramas, adverts, theatre and feature films.
Whilst some of our students were vastly successful, we felt that some of our students were being submitted for roles that weren't appropriate or didn't suit their look or personality. We felt that if we could have a agency where we really knew the children we were representing, we could provide a really high quality service to both our students and casting directors as we would only submit children for roles we knew they could succeed in.
After 10 years of working closely with casting directors, agents and continued success at the stage school, we've decided to set up our own agency and represent our own talent.
